Hosted by the Offshore and Energy Exhibition, the Hydrographic Society Benelux presents the workshop GNSS PPP-RTK. Global Precise Point Positioning (PPP) at decimeter level has been possible during the last decade. In the last year real time kinematic (RTK) techniques using fixing of ambiguities has become possible. This allows cm level accuracy on a global scale. This workshop will give an overview of the theory, the main service suppliers in the market and the application of PPP-RTK in offshore applications. During this workshop the possibilities of worldwide cm accuracy are discussed as well as practical use of these techniques by leading offshore companies.
